Maintenance Supervisor, Off-Shift

Supervising a maintenance crew on the 2nd or 3rd shift;
Scheduling work orders, PMs, and overtime;
Assisting with installations of new equipment;
Troubleshooting equipment problems;
Ensuring personnel safety and proper requisitioning of parts;;
Keeping accurate and timely records;
Communicating with management on operating and/or personnel problems;
Encouraging employee suggestions for improvement.
EDUCATION: 2-year degree or certificate preferred; Mechanics or Electronics preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of mechanical and electrical maintenance and supervisory experience;
Knowledge of basic mechanics, electrical, preventative maintenance, PLCs, welding, boilers, refrigeration, etc.;
Experience recognizing problem situations and initiating appropriate resolution steps;
Familiar with or ability to learn computerized maintenance management system;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to work overtime or weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
