Analyzing training needs and developing new and modifying existing programs;
Conducting or coordinating ongoing technical training and personal development classes;
Arranging and overseeing orientation sessions and training for new hires;
Developing and organizing training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials;
Evaluating and purchasing training materials;
Developing procedures, methods, or standards related to training and workforce development;
Developing training evaluation procedures;
Ensuring that training complies with government regulations;
Preparing training budget for the HR department, and monitoring training costs;
Training instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees;
Following safe and sanitary work practices, GMP and HACCP guidelines, and product quality in order to maintain SQF Level 3 certification.
EDUCATION: 2-year degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Entry level with strong internship or co-op applicable experience;
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred;
Knowledge in adult education and learning techniques;
Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and problem solving skills;
Proficient in the use of MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
