Participating in regulatory, customer and internal audits by gathering records, developing new processes, and ensuring compliance;
Developing, training and maintaining the plant SQF, HACCP and GMP programs;
Ensuring consistent communication and teamwork, safe work environment, and administration of company policies and procedures;
Departmental budgeting and cost control;
Continuous improvement of product quality and plant quality systems;
Developing and monitoring plant sanitation programs.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years of supervisory experience in a food production facility;
Prior responsibility for Quality systems;
Experience and knowledge of all applicable food industry related quality systems, SQF, HACCP and GMP;
Experience developing and motivating personnel;
Willing and able to work overtime or weekends when required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
