Plant Manager
Food manufacturing client of ours is hiring a Plant Manager.
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve operational goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems, production management principles, and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Solid mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
