The Health & Safety Specialist will experience a high-energy environment that fosters growth and development within a corporate culture that values honesty, integrity, and mutual respect.
The Health and Safety Specialist for the Iowa facilities is responsible for overseeing the safety and health efforts for all Iowa facilities including emergency response, accident investigations, worker's compensation claim processing, OSHA compliance, and safety initiatives.
The Health and Safety Specialist works closely with the management team to advance the safety program for all Iowa facilities.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability Studies or related field preferred plus two or more years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technology aptitude for information systems with experience collecting and analyzing data; skills to oversee OSHA/EP compliance efforts; experience in handling sensitive and confidential information; the ability to work independently and establish positive working relationships throughout the organization.
Strong detail orientation with exceptional follow through is critical.
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Pre-employment background investigation and pre-employment drug screen required.
